Droplets of Summer's Morning Dew

Wednesday, April 28, 2010

Thursday at last, technically it's still Wednesday if i base it on US Time.  Yes, i am one of the "very few" people who work on a graveyard shift.  Still, a day more to go before weekend comes.  It rained hard last night the minute i woke up and was almost caught in a traffic jam that almost made me late to come to work.   I love the rain especially on a very hot day.  This summer has been one of the hottest that has been recorded.  With a temperature raging from 32 - 34 C, now that is HOT!!!

Anyway, there are a lot who doesnt like the idea of working at night and sleeping by day.  Im not one of those.  Sure, working in this kind of shift can certainly take a toll on one's body.  Still, i love it.  The fact i havent tried working during daytime is a clear fact that  Im nocturnal and i think lifestyle has been easier with this kind of schedule.  I can go to the mall or just anywhere not worrying about its closing time.  I can go to school and take up subjects with whatever schedule they're offering coz there is no time conflict with work.
pittir patter goes the rain.

Here at work, i got one of the best seats in the house.  The window is just right across my cubicle where i can see the first glimpse of morning.  An hour ago, it drizzled and made morning more welcoming.  Others who work at daytime would probably  still be asleep when this happens and perhaps cant even witness a single moonrise when they head home.  What can i say, such rise only happens a fraction of a second...Luckily, I happen to see it DAILY:)

Dont you just love watching sky transformation into different morning hues?

oh, i just do.
